The exam is also known as the American Board of Plastic Surgery examination. If you successfully pass the examination, you will be licensed to practice and give treatments.

In order to ensure that they are able to perform surgical procedures in the safest and most effective way, the boards will require their doctors to undergo continuing education courses and perform supervised clinical rotations so that you can receive ongoing training and supervision of the procedures performed. This is done to maintain the highest level of standards.
